“Have a nice human life Katherine”
Elena Gilbert in 1x20 “Blood brothers”

Elena beating up Katherine was one of the most warrior princess moments as a vampire, in my opinion. Her determination to kill her and the rage she had towards her overpowered the fact that her enemy was 500 years older than she was. For those who still wonder how she managed to do it, it’s because she was angrier, let alone the fact that Katherine was caught off guard. She heard someone following her and she assumed that it was Silas. As soon as she saw Elena, she was stabbed in the stomach before managing to make a move. Hence she was weaker at that point. What I loved most about that scene was the part where Katherine’s desperation was shown. She was actually begging Elena not to kill her, because she knew that she would. I’m glad that Elena didn’t kill her, however. Because Elena is not a person that will kill someone for revenge. She was just focusing on hate to avoid hurting herself from all the pain she’d feel if she let everything back in. She was definately not herself. But the fact that she had the chance to ‘thank her’ for everything that she’s done to her life was satisfying enough.
Go ahead Stefan. Torture me, keep me captive, drain me of my blood until my body turns to dust. It’ll never change the truth.

God Bless David Anders.
And Nina for retweeting.
